MC Fundamentals 1 & 2 online course with Mike

Mike is a great tutor and leader for the MC Fundamentals Pt. 1 & 2 and the course is very thorough and complete. I would definitely recommend this to anyone trying to get the basic skills to start a career in post-production.

I really enjoyed the MC110 Avid Media Composer course, having done the MC101 course the week before. I think the trainer Mike has an excellent and engaging way of teaching. I was able to grasp the all the concepts taught and practice them myself on my own laptop. I think the best thing about the training was the way it was delivered through Mike as he was approachable to ask any questions, he went through all the topics in a way that we could easily follow along.

The best thing about the course was learning the proper process and functionality behind the tools. They were all tools I have used before but understanding them properly was excellent.

Expressions were a massive highlight.

Very hands on training, went through a logical structure to learn all the fundamentals of Adobe Premiere Pro.

Final Cut Pro X 100: The number of edits we did, and the balance between guidance and experimentation was excellent

DaVinci Resolve 101: Good pace, small class.

Avid MC101: Really informative. Mike was really helpful about going off topic to help with areas not directly covered with the course.

Premiere Pro Introduction: Insightful, industry knowledge with a friendly and approachable delivery.

After Effects Bundle: Training was easy to understand and follow. I loved the training on 3D and motion tracking

John was an excellent tutor. Very patient... great communication and obviously very skilled and knowledgeable with Cinema 4D. I was very pleased with the entire 3 days tuition.

I recently took part in the online ‘Introduction to Premiere Pro’ training run by Soho Editors and went from total novice to putting together a video with effects in just a few hours. I booked and attended a bespoke three day course with Soho editors. Before starting the course I was in touch with my instructor and was able to explain a little about my previous experience and about the kinds of effects that I wanted to be able to achieve on Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. The course itself was well structured and John the instructor was an excellent teacher that was very much able to adapt when I asked questions and to work at a speed that suited me.
