How much does certification cost?

Course fees are determined by individual Avid Learning Partners. A course book, which includes the cost of the exam and one retake (if necessary), must be purchased. Additional retakes may incur extra charges.

Can I use study materials during the exam?

No. During the exam, candidates are not permitted to reference study materials or any external documentation.

What is the format of the exam?

The exam consists of 50 questions, and you will have 60 minutes to complete it. The test includes the following question formats:

Multiple Choice: Select the answer that best fits the question.
Illustration Review: Examine the provided illustration (e.g., Media Composer interface) before selecting your answer.
Illustration Response: Choose the image that most accurately answers the question.

What happens if I do not pass the exam?

Exam results are provided immediately after submission. If you do not pass, you can retake the exam after 24 hours. Please note that once you pass the exam, you cannot retake it for that version of the Avid product.
