From active war zones to wildlife reserves, Jasmine is a story-focused Writer and Editor who’s produced content in over twenty countries. Cutting 200+ videos for New Zealand's largest media corporation, NZME and another 200+ across a range of formats and clients. National Geographic, the BBC and ITV have aired her edited news content.
As the
Writer, Editor and Producer of the feature documentary LIONS, BONES & BULLETS,
she won ‘Best Educational Feature Film’ and was runner up to Sir David
Attenborough for ‘Best Presenter Led Feature Film’ at the 2021 Jackson Wild
Media Awards. The film received international distribution by the 2021
Oscar-winners, Off the Fence (My Octopus Teacher).
She’s a confident storyteller, communicator and self-starter driven to make our world a better place for all. Jasmine's versatile skill set includes Writing, Offline and Creative Editing, Titles, Basic Graphics, Online, Grading and Sound Mixing. She favours DaVinci Resolve and is also fluent in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro X and additional tools. She writes and edits Feature Documentaries, Sizzles & Trailers, Promotional Content, Short Films. Her Bachelor of Visual Arts is from New Zealand’s Auckland University of Technology in contemporary moving image.
