Senior Video Editor - SE22

Vacancy Description

Our client is the world’s leading video publisher for construction. Their mission is to fundamentally change the world’s perception of this critical industry through their content.

Their award winning productions have earned them the largest video audience in the architecture and construction sectors worldwide. The ideal candidate will be a highly proficient, technical and organised editor, able to take edits from media management through to audio / color mixing and delivery. They will be proactive and able to hit the ground running when they join the business, balancing multiple edits and deadlines.

Their video editors create videos from pre-voiced scripts and gathered assets. The ability to think on their feet, work with the wider production team, fill in gaps visually and make suggestions is key. Experience of creating content for distribution on social media (especially YouTube and Facebook) is essential.

Their team has a passion for bringing stories to their audience in an engaging way that stops them in their tracks. They help talented, creative and driven professionals to make an impact and change the world with their work.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, growing business that’s disrupting media in a critical yet under-served subject area.

  • ● Video edit, color correct, and finish audio for multiple video products.
  • ● Select the best possible music based on the mood / feel of the edit.
  • ● Balance multiple edits and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • ● Integrate graphics and motion elements, suggesting external support where it could add value and lift the overall story.
  • ● Deliver feedback to videographers and/or producers on possible production improvements.
What you’ll bring:

  • ● A proven track record of video editing in a professional TV or digital environment.
  • ● The ability to craft a strong, compelling story.
  • ● A tireless dedication to creating new content.
  • ● Familiarity with editing software; ideally Final Cut Pro, Motion, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects.
