Role: Junior Colourist

The Role
The role of the Junior Colourist is to support colour grading operations from ingest to delivery. The Junior Colourist works under the Senior Colourists and fills a variety of roles for the completion of projects.

The ideal candidate has some experience is colour grading and post production, looking to increase their knowledge and abilities across a variety of projects and clients in a fast paced professional post production environment.

Responsibilities include:

• coordinating drives and digital prep media
• managing ingest and server consolidation
• conforming edit timeline for colour
• troubleshooting workflow problems
• unsupervised colour grading, including first passes, and mask tracking
• managing and supervising project renders, assuring deliverable specifications are met completely
• Re-conform and QC check of colour projects
• communicating with producers, ie projects are ready to send to client, updating the schedules etc..
• preparing projects for archival process
