The Role:

One of our clients is seeking a mid-level Colour Grader who is a highly confident, creative, problem solver with a positive attitude and the demonstrable ability to create video content to a high standard.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for the beauty and fashion world and extensive experience of colour grading beauty work. It is essential that they are capable of taking ownership of their work from concept to completion.

Possessing a working knowledge of online workflows and a full understanding of various camera formats, they will understand both how to work with raw footage and delivery specifications. Excellent attention to detail is a necessity.

Working closely with their in-house Video Editor, they will have in-depth knowledge of the beauty sector, being driven to push the boundaries of colour grading within that sector. They will be colour grading to the highest creative and technical standards in order to create engaging work. Using their expert knowledge of Resolve, they will ensure consistency throughout production. Further, they will have the skill and desire to edit, as and when required.

The successful candidate will possess the expertise to interpret briefs creatively, responding proactively and positively to feedback. Being extremely organised with strong project management skills, they will also be liaising with outside contractors, whilst at all times complying with industry standards and best practises. This will require a flexible, highly organised individual who has a diplomatic approach and has the capacity to deal with changing deadlines and priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Expert knowledge of Davinci Resolve
  • Expert knowledge of Premiere Pro
  • Working knowledge of EDLs and XMLs
  • Ability to export and conform to delivery specifications (OOH, TVC, Social etc)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
