Permanent (Full-Time) – Long Form/TV Drama/Feature Films/Episodic – London - Salary Commensurate with Experience - 4+ years minimum experience required.

The Role:

The Visual Effects Editor will report to the Head Of Production on all overall production matters pertaining to formulation, adaptation and implementation of processes and procedures, resource allocation and editorial bookings for screenings and reviews

Our client creates award-winning visual effects for high-end television and feature films. They craft innovative and complex sequences, specialising in FX, creatures and environments and are passionate about finding creative solutions to make their clients’ stories come to life on screen.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Running internal and client screening review sessions
• Work closely with Production and VFX teams to ensure shots are being delivered to the best standard and are meeting deadlines
• Responsible for creating various reels
• Provide submission QuickTime’s for client reviews and Production
• Update and maintain all editorial data
• Manage internal edits of shots
• Process client material as and when required

Qualifications & Experience:

• Excellent editing skills
• Excellent knowledge of Di softwares, (Baselight, Nucoda)
• Experience with Data IO (Filezilla ftp, aspera)
• Working knowledge of Premiere Pro
• Working knowledge of Avid
• Working knowledge of FCP
• Experience with shot tracking software (Shotgun, Ftrack)
