Permanent (Full-Time) Broadcast/Advertising/Corporate – London - Salary Commensurate with Experience -

3+ years industry minimum experience required and 2+ years as a Videographer.

The Role:

One of our clients is currently requires a Videographer whose role will involve both editing and filming. We are seeking a candidate who is highly skilled in both areas, as well as in the overall art of video production, including storytelling, shoot style, overlays and aesthetics.

Candidates must have an excellent eye for staging, utilising lighting, sound and framing, together with a good understanding of audio: mixing tracks, looping music, and utilising transitions to tell a story.

Working on a broad range of projects, from brand videos and campaigns through to CEO interviews, you will have the skill to interpret a brief and turn it into an implementable plan. As well as being passionate about film with a desire to constantly push creative boundaries, applicants will also possess exceptional attention to detail.

You will be well organised when it comes to prioritising projects and meeting deadlines, with a passion for creative ideas coupled with an eye for detail.

The successful candidate will work with the Head of Video as part of a video team of four, and with the wider agency as part of their fully integrated approach. You will keep abreast of new video formats and editing styles, with the ability to learn how to incorporate them into creative campaigns.

Please note that applicants will be required to share at least three examples of their work which must be corporate branded, narrative led and include examples of talking heads, as part of the selection process.

Responsibilities:

  • Work both with and within, account teams to establish appropriate creative directions for our videos (including storyboarding)
  • Film and edit high quality videos which meet both the clients' requirements and their brief
  • Manage and direct shoots (working with clients/talent when required)
  • Ensure all projects are produced on time, to the agreed brief, budget and high standard

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Excellent colour correction and grading skills
  • Strong camera skills
  • Extensive knowledge of Final Cut Pro
  • Flexibility to travel for shoots
  • FCP/AFX

Desirable:

  • Motion graphics
  • After Effects
