Role: Senior Post Production Producer (Film)

The Role
The Client is seeking a positive, motivated and detail-oriented Senior Producer with 5+ years experience in film post production to join our growing film team. You will be responsible for the production and delivery of film projects, with the ability to form and build great client and internal relationships. You will have an excellent record of handling multiple projects in a fast paced production environment, under tight deadlines with a good understanding of the digital workflows including vfx, editing + colour grading.

Communication is essential in this position, you will liaise with our clients and partners in a personable, warm manner, understanding their needs and sharing effective solutions, ensuring to continuously provide an exceptional service. You will have strong numeracy skills and financial awareness to produce projects effectively and meet wider business targets.

As a senior member of the team you will have an understanding of the business needs and lead by example, constantly looking to improve and adapt production processes in order to increase efficiency and ensure a high quality output.

Key Responsibilities

  • Have a sound working knowledge of all the various roles, functions, capabilities, equipment, and applications with experience devising cost and time efficient post production workflows on Premiere, Da Vinci and Flame.
  • Interpret creative briefs and be capable of quantifying, pitching, quoting & negotiating, resourcing & scheduling all aspects of post production undertaken by the business and keeping the projects on track and delivering at an exceptional standard.
  • Maintain regular communication and engagement with the creative teams - understanding their roles, ability to brief them effectively, prepare budgets, assigning operators, briefing bookings, scheduling client reviews, taking and distributing client / creative feedback & tracking work orders and costs.
  • Forging new relationships with directors, DOPS and production agencies
  • Identify and foster new and existing Studio RM film talent, including but not limited to editors, colourists, VFX & and flame artists; partnering talent with brands, production agencies and directors.
