Permanent (Full-Time) – Film & Broadcast – London - Salary Commensurate with Experience - 2+ years minimum experience required.

The Role:

Our client is looking for an Edit Assistant who can already operate Flame and who is keen to take the leap and become an Online Editor / Flame Operator.

The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of all broadcast and feature specifications for TV and features. You will have good knowledge of online programming, including conforming & prepping material, editorial changes, title amends clocking and versioning.

The role will involve working closely with clients and various departments within the post facility. The successful candidate will have the ability to work under pressure as part of a team.

With regular festival appearances and over 200 major award nominations and wins, they are one of the UK’s leading production partners.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Managing timelines
  • Importing and exporting files between departments
  • Basic VFX including compositing, roto, paint outs and clean ups
  • Project archiving
  • Maintaining ongoing system maintenance and upgrades

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Flame experience
  • Ability to use initiative
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Desire and willingness to learn new skills
