Permanent (Full-Time) – Advertising – London - Salary Commensurate with Experience - 2+ years minimum experience required.

The Role:

Our client is seeking an experienced edit producer, with a minimum of two years’ experience as an edit or post producer to join its team.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in quoting commercial, content and music video edit projects. You will also have a good knowledge of, or experience within, online post production including colour grading and VFX.

You will be capable of overseeing projects and supporting the editor, edit assist and clients through the editing process. Confidence negotiating with clients, ensuring that projects are won whilst costs are controlled and margins are upheld will be a necessity. Further, being cohesive and collaborative, you must be able to communicate clear and concise approval points, budgetary cut offs and assess where additional costs would apply.

The successful candidate will have the ability to pre-plan projects and communicate with clients, production teams, post production teams and edit team, so that material is provided and the editing process completed and passed onto online post-production, seamlessly and without hitch. You will also be able to efficiently schedule company resources and staff, to be knowledgeable in workflows, editing requirements and processes, and to expertly calculate the time requirements for project completion. In addition, you will require the ability to spot potential issues, assess the best course of action and, when appropriate, implement measures to bring about a resolution.You will be required to manage client expectations and ensure their experience is professional, efficient and enjoyable.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Demonstrable edit or post producer experience
  • Experience with scheduling software eg: Ceta; Xytech; Scheduall; Farmers Wife
  • Excellent client management skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in reconciling and reporting
  • Experience in invoicing projects
  • Experience facilitating prompt payment from clients
  • Excellent attention to detail
