Sam is a creative filmmaker with a primary focus on editing. Over the past 6 years he’s plied his trade at the advertising agency AKQA, working as editor and Moving Image Director, on brands like Nike, Footlocker, Fendi, Virgin and Nivea. He’s edited TVC’s, short form documentaries, mood films, music videos and case studies, and he’s worked alongside some of the best film companies in the industry, including Partizan, Somesuch, MPC, Absolute Post, and Wave Studios.
He has a deep love for storytelling and the language of cinema. He understands the level of thought, fearlessness and energy required to create great work and he enjoys pushing himself and others to try and achieve this goal.
He has strong skills in
both Adobe Premiere and After Effects, plus a good knowledge and skill with
sound and colour.

Ever since I signed for Soho Editors 3 years ago I’ve had nothing but positive things to say about them, from the quality of work that they get me to how the whole team are as people. The team really take care of you, and although it’s a massive agency they really have a personal touch and make you feel comfortable with every aspect of what each job entails.
You also really believe that they care about you individually, I remember telling Emma that I loved Football and the next week she’d got me on a Nike football film which I was buzzing about. I think it’s those personal touches that really make them the best.
I can’t recommend them enough. I hope I’m with them for many years to come.
