Media Composer 6.5 Professional Picture and Sound Editing (MC6.5 201)

Experienced Avid Media Composer or Symphony editors gain greater productivity by mastering the system's sophisticated editing features and tools. Students learn things like workspace management and project organisation, along with advanced toolsets including MultiCamera, ScriptSync, and Marquee. In addition the course gives students a primer on audio mix theory and covers some fundamental Media Composer audio sweetening tools and techniques. Avid Media Composer 6.5 for Final Cut Pro Editors training course (MC 250)

This two-day hands-on Avid Media Composer training course introduces students to the primary feature set and interface of Avid Media Composer. Using FCP editing terminology and references as stepping stones, this course translates the students’ existing editing talents to the Avid skill set. In this course students will learn Avid MC editing operations: capturing, sound editing, creating bins and sequences, as well as Avid's extensive effects package, realtime colour correcting and numerous tips and keyboard shortcuts for everything in between.
